Fear as GOOD Sign ✨

As we really get to know ourselves and consider making change, fear is often an unwelcome companion.

Our ego-mind, a persistent risk mitigator, is constantly at work striving to maintain the status quo.

So when we are taking big bold steps, our ego understandably freaks out.

When I acknowledged to myself that my career as a staff psychologist at a large hospital was over, it still took 18 months for me to actually leave.

Self-doubt, insecurity, imposter syndrome, thoughts like “I am not good enough” or  “Who do you think you are?” are all ways for our mind to keep us “safe”…

…and when we believe them, they ultimately keep us from living the life of our dreams

Fear, in all of its iterations, then becomes a sign of progress.

When we can hold our fear in compassion for our humanness and in gratitude for its worthy efforts to protect us…

When we stop fighting the fear or letting it lead the way…

We are free to do just about anything else.

Exhale and imagine all of the possibilities that are coming your way.

Ease and FUN on your journey ahead ~
