I have training in psychodynamic, relational, attachment, and interpersonal therapy. I work utilizing frameworks based in neuroscience, attachment, mindfulness, and experiential teachings.
Process and integrate traumatic experiences; explore ways in which you feel stuck in a relationship, job, or belief system; shift from being in "survival mode" to adopting coping skills that feel more sustainable and better for your nervous system.

Every person is unique and therefore needs a tailored approach in therapy. I pull from practical methods (CBT, DBT, & Solution-Focused Therapy), deeper, analytic models, and mindfulness/self-soothing/coping approaches. Together we find the right mix.

I love sharing resources. I bring ideas for books to read, videos to watch, podcasts to listen to, to enhance our work together. I am able to hold the vision of the possibilities that are "out there" beyond the current challenges you're facing.
I appreciate a person's ability to recognize they are in need of outside assistance, whether it is due to a more recent stressor, or a chronic issue that has not been effectively resolved. People's pasts and current lives are important to explore.

My approach to therapy is more collaborative/directive as I believe that many people lack having someone in their life who is able to gently confront you in your maladaptive coping mechanisms/patterns. I also use humor as laughter can be curative.
