My approach incorporates elements of cognitive-behavioral, acceptance and commitment, and dialectical behavioral therapy. I believe that the change comes between our sessions. I work with you to develop strategies to help challenge negative thinking.
After thoroughly assessing the problems, we decide on goals. Each session you, or you and your partner if you are participating in couples therapy, will have the chance to practice new skills while I continue to offer feedback and direction.

My job is to help guide you and support you on your journey by identifying your strengths and enhancing your coping skills. I incorporate the person as a whole, meaning exploring food and the environment in addition to traditional talk therapy.
