I do remote counseling via telehealth and I’ve found that although it can feel odd to do therapy through a screen at first, it allows you to be in your own space and feel safe enough to open up even more so than in a therapy office!

I use CBT techniques and teach DBT skills. CBT involves exploring how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors effect each other to create maladaptive patterns. DBT skills focus on emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and relationship skills.
