Together we will explore your values and the current direction of your life. We will explore what's most important to you and develop ways to get back on track with the life you want for yourself.

One of my goals is to help people come into the present moment and get in touch with what they are experiencing in the here and now. Therapy is a place to slow down and really connect with what you are feeling.
We will work on identifying the threads, both painful and joyful, that run through the stories of your life. Once we get a good sense of those contours, we'll start gently tugging apart the threads until the knot doesn't hurt anymore.

I often use more skills-based therapies as we begin work together to decrease the frequency and intensity of your symptoms. After you feel more stable, we use more insight-based, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed therapies to create lasting change.
My goal is to meet you where you are and assist you with stress management, anxiety, self-esteem, depression, family conflict, mood disorders, chronic illness and coping with life changes.
