You'll have an enlightening journey with me as I kindly and gently lead you through the journey of healing. I know it’s hard to open up in therapy so I make it as easy as possible. I use exercises to help you relax and provide reassurance.
My approach is influenced by family systems, psychodynamic viewpoints, and developmental psychology. I commonly use cognitive-behavioral, narrative, and brief solution-focused interventions. You’ll work hard, but we’ll laugh more often than cry.

Therapy will be very conversational and we go at your pace. My work is client-centered and resiliency-focused. Most people benefit from understanding their personal history AND how it might tripping them up now. We'll talk about both.

I am not the therapist who will just "umm hmm" and "How does that make you feel"...I'm much more direct than many therapists, though I will go at your pace. I am EMDR certified but I do not use EMDR with every client if it is not needed or desired.
