I focus strongly on CBT, or how behaviors, thoughts, and feelings interact and affect each other, as well as EMDR which allows the brain's natural healing processes to work on past traumas. With children, play and/or art are always incorporated!

My approach draws from solution based practices, Gottman and IMAGO therapy. We do explore past issues as a way of seeing patterns that contribute to current concerns as well as personal strengths that can be used to improve interactions.
