I approach therapy with a strength-based client focus, ensuring that together we are working towards your identified goals. The work I do primarily focuses on the present and future, creating clear steps to move the client forward.
Together, we will have the opportunity to explore your relationships, be it with your partner(s), children, other family members, and friends. We will explore your relationship to mental health, your values, and any other goals you have for therapy.

Something to know about my approach is that it is collaborative, relational, sex positive, trauma-informed, culturally affirming, and informed by intersectional feminism.

From the first session, we help you get clarity about how to move forward and start feeling better. We are smart, compassionate, thoughtful/active listeners. Ellen, David and I are experienced and use several modalities (CADC, EMDR, CBT, ACT, etc)

My warm approach emphasizes the pursuit of pleasure, self-compassion, and is rooted in mindfulness. I'm affirming of all identities, relationship structures, and am kink-aware. I commonly work topics such as relieving minority stress and resilience.
