Revealing what motivates our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors can unlock renewed self-awareness, leading to meaningful breakthroughs. This newly acquired knowledge can transform and enrich our perception of ourselves and of the world surrounding us.

I practice psychodynamic therapy. My approach is warm, non-directive, non-judgmental, and holistic, as it welcomes you as a whole, including your history, your background, your personality, and your embodied experience.
Hopefully talk, maybe practice some new skills, maybe meditate, hopefully dig deep (if that’s where we need to go, but generally not right away), generally we will problem solve and explore options you are willing and able to try out.

I believe in an integrative approach, that is, there are good parts to many therapy approaches, and everyone is different. So I try and cater my approach on a personal basis.
Utilize mindfulness, empathy, creativity, and personal strengths as we collaborate to rewrite the story of your life - past, present, and future. You deserve a chance to be who you want to be.

What makes you, you is something we should embrace. There's no right way to "do therapy". We can figure out what works best for you, together.
I ask clients, “if you had a magic wand how would you use it to change your life?” Responses highlight the gap between what men want and what they have. I help you navigate this gap by identifying/addressing barriers to creating the life you want.

I'm committed to the mental health and general wellness of Black men. This approach, along with my formal training and lived experience, arms me with the ability to meet Black men where they are and help navigate them toward their desired goals.
Together we will explore your childhood, past, and present. Learning more about who you are is essential for being able to challenge the difficulties that have brought you here. Together we will work to make you stronger, happier, and empowered.

I use a variety of approaches using talk therapy, explorations of your childhood and your past, and a variety of art therapy techniques. I like to find out what your interests are and incorporate that into your sessions (art, music, books, etc).
