When working with clients, I employ evidence-based treatments, including Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. To see if we connect, schedule a 15-minute consult session at no-cost.
Broad themes that I often discuss with clients include boundary work, patterns/roles in life and within relationships, and how the creative process can be included in the therapeutic work.

I have a nondirective therapeutic style. I let my clients lead what they want to explore and talk about in session. I include the creative process and art making as an important tool for self expression and explorations of emotions.
We will identify how past experiences influence your current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We will explore what areas of your life are most difficult and create goals. We will develop tangible skills and strategies to help you heal.

I used a trauma-informed collaborative approach to healing. I use a combination of DBT, ACT, IFS, and Psychodynamic approaches. I show up as my genuine and authentic self and strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space for all individuals.
I focus on emotion identification. Learning to name what you feel is the first step in learning how to cope with emotions. This is how you learn to move with and through emotions rather than fight against them.
