My style is practical and reality-based meaning that there are plenty of advantageous routes to interact with systems of power, privilege, and oppression. I reflect on these truths in delivering my clinical talks, choosing readings, & assignments.
I don't believe in "mental illness": No one comes to therapy because has been too awesome. When we can identify the source of your pain and heal it, we can change your life. Everyone can get better. They just need to find the right therapist.
