Hopefully talk, maybe practice some new skills, maybe meditate, hopefully dig deep (if that’s where we need to go, but generally not right away), generally we will problem solve and explore options you are willing and able to try out.

I believe in an integrative approach, that is, there are good parts to many therapy approaches, and everyone is different. So I try and cater my approach on a personal basis.
Work towards your values and what you want to get out of therapy. Some people come to therapy to talk about every day stress. Others need a space to grieve or to work through life experiences. I am here for what YOU need.

When you or your child work with me, I use a creative approach so that therapy can be fun and productive! For example, is your interest in video games, music, art? We can use that in therapy!
look inward at your thoughts, feelings, identities, and values, while also exploring environmental factors, family of origin, and relational patterns to strengthen both your sense of self and your connections with others.

I help my clients develop real strategies to cope with stress and mental health symptoms, while also going deeper to get to the root of the problem and create longterm change. I am guided by relational, psychodynamic, and depth-oriented approaches.
Develop coping skills that can be useful both now and in the future. We will also work to identify negative thoughts, practice new skills, problem solve, and set goals so that you can fully live in the present moment.

An Integrative approach uses multiple approaches to help clients. In most cases, this means a combination of psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and humanistic therapies. The approach is flexible and based on the needs of the client.
