In therapy, I’m completely focused on your needs and want to listen to your story. Together, we work on areas/goals you want to achieve. I tend to be concrete, share insight, and love sharing tools and resources clients may find helpful.

My goal is to create a safe space in which you feel authentically seen and heard. Your values will inform our sessions as we work to better understand you, the context of your life, and what you need to heal, grow, or change.
Trauma, polyvagal theory, and self-compassion are key themes in my practice. The brain is a magnificent, really smart organ and learning how it is trying to protect us helps us bring levity and compassion to our daily lives. I am an ART provider.

I come from a family of teachers and so ensuring my clients know what is going on in therapy comes as second nature. After all, I may be the mental health professional but you are the expert in your own life and your input and understanding matters.

I believe if we could change our behavior we would and therefore our challenges are related to skill deficits. By examining our skill deficits and developing the skills we need, our daily activities (so-called challenges and stress) begin to change.
