We can do formal skills, but I take a more casual approach because research shows the relationship between us and what you already have to bring to the table is the most important. Mindset is key and we can discuss how yours is working for you.

It is my responsibility to pay attention to the big picture- noting common themes that come up. Often concerns that we have present differently across different domains (work, home, etc.) but the emotional underpinnings and impact can be similar.

What sets me apart is that I'm a combat veteran and trauma survivor. I struggled in ways like too many of us do. That's why this isn't "Just a job" for me. I get it, and I can meet you where you are because I've walked in those shoes myself.

My approach to therapy is trauma-driven and client-centered, with a splash of humor. I have specialized training in trauma and trauma-processing techniques and experience with anxiety, depression, teen identity struggles, and school difficulties.
