divest from hustle culture, release the burdens associated with time, money and energy scarcity, imagine a future where you are not acting out with self abandoning and zero in on your future goals- whether it be romantic goals or work related

I invite folx in my practice to show up as themselves, in all of your grief, frustrations, joy and sadness. I believe that through receiving compassionate witnessing, you can have more capacity to create an internal sense of belonging.
Learn to understand the different parts of who you are, and the reason behind your motivations in life. This can and often includes areas of childhood, friendship, spirituality/faith, politics, love, family, sexuality, careers, heartbreak and death.

My role will be to make observations, ask questions, and listen genuinely. I will not tell you what to do. I can't. The journey is yours, but I will walk beside you until you feel ready to discover a new path on your own.
In our sessions we'll work collaboratively to identify what is causing you to feel stressed or burned out, develop strategies to get you unstuck, and identify what you want from life.

I primarily utilize acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), which involves identifying what you want in life and how you want to show up for yourself and others. We work on viewing thoughts and feelings as information rather than as driving forces.
Identify what you value, what fulfills you, and what gives you a sense of purpose. From there, we will figure out what you can do to build the life (including the kind of relationships) you want.

By helping you understand how you came to think, feel, and behave as you do now, we can cultivate self-acceptance, harness your strengths, develop effective coping skills, and help you live in a way that is congruent with your own values and goals.
Get you to a place where you can identify your strengths, recognize your short and long-term goals, know where to start, feel more empowered and balanced.

My approach is very relational and strength-based. I work hard at establishing rapport and trust. I draw a lot from feminist and multicultural psychology. I often provide psycho-ed about self-compassion and challenging automatic negative thoughts.
