As a mom and psychologist, I focus upon two main factors when providing care: 1) utilizing the most evidence-based assessments and protocols specific to each patient's concerns and 2) tailoring treatment goals collaboratively with their valules.

I intentionally choose not to shy away from the darker, scarier, uglier parts of life with my clients. At times, life is painful and messy. As much as we might want to avoid the pain and mess, people are much better off trying to embrace it.

It is my responsibility to pay attention to the big picture- noting common themes that come up. Often concerns that we have present differently across different domains (work, home, etc.) but the emotional underpinnings and impact can be similar.
