My clients describe me as:
Compassionate, smart, and down to earth.
Something to know about my approach is:
I integrate body and mind in therapy and am big on soothing the nervous system and helping clients build emotional resources. I use EMDR, parts work, and somatic practices to help process trauma narratives when clients feel ready to do so.
Together, we will:
Talk about how trauma, anxiety, and/or stress has impacted you. Who you really are underneath what life has burdened you with. How to cope with triggers and reparent your inner child. How to live a fulfilling, whole life guided by your values.
I specialize in working with people who:
Struggle with perfectionism, anxiety, stress, or the lasting impacts of trauma.
I became a therapist because:
I saw a need for healing through integration of both mind and body along with compassionate connection to another human.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
The campus my office is located on! Enjoy a few minutes in the beautiful serenity garden or next to the trees before or after a session to ground.
More about me and my practice:
My practice is trauma-focused and we believe that while the past does impact the present, we can each live fulfilling lives as we learn to ease the weight of our past experiences.
