supportive, challenging, compassionate, knowledgeable, informal, authentic, and experienced.
Something to know about my approach is:
I am thoroughly metamodern. I operate from an integrated view of the person that is both relational and developmentally and contextually informed. I draw on a blend of theory, practice, and personal experience.
Together, we will:
co-create an integrative approach to psychotherapy that is uniquely tailored to you. I will draw on a range of different theories and tools to offer you a supportive and challenging experience in therapy sensitive to your present needs and goals.
I specialize in working with people who:
are struggling in a time between worlds. That struggle might be to recover past balance or to step into new capabilities. Either way, navigating such transition is fraught with upheaval. Together, let's chart and set a best course.
I became a therapist because:
I had my own experience of PTSD in early adulthood and it prompted me to switch career tracks from Electrical Engineering to Psychology.
More about me and my practice:
If you are looking for a psychologist who has trained in more than just labeling thoughts and assigning worksheets and who has extensive experience with the outer reaches of human experience (both agonizing and transcendent), I might be a good fit.
