I use what works. I use my intuition and my professional experience Typically that means a mix of CBT, process oriented, strength based and solution focused approaches. I see each session as an opportunity to create something new together.

Explore strategies for getting you moving forward in life. We will collaborate and set goals that are meaningful to you. Many themes are discussed in sessions. Some common ones include: difficulties with self-image, shame, feeling “not good enough”.
I specialize in working with people who:
Use food or other ineffective behaviors to numb out and calm down. They are trying to understand how to comfort and soothe themselves. They are depressed and anxious. They need help developing self-compassion and strategies for self-care.
I became a therapist because:
I’m a highly sensitive and empathic person by nature. I’m introverted and inclined towards looking at things more deeply. I love being challenged.
