About Me:

  • My clients describe me as:

Trustworthy. Genuine. Well read. Curious. Someone with the long view of life, with perspective based on experience. Easy to hear.

  • Something to know about my approach is:

The tissues are on the table, but I’m not a therapist who wants to dumpster dive into your past. I’d rather us spend your time working out the here and now with real ideas you can try out. Then you’ll be the judge of what works and what doesn’t.

  • Together, we will:

Answer the question “ How do I stop my anxiety from running my life?” If you freeze up in social situations, ruminate over what others think of you—including mind reading & predicting awful outcomes for yourself, I can help.

  • I specialize in working with people who:

Want someone they can trust and feel safe with when they finally let their deepest fears out into the open.

  • I became a therapist because:

One day my own son’s therapist said “You know, you could do this. You could sit in this chair a long time.” She had faith in me, and I have faith in U

  • Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

I don’t necessarily know more than you do, but I’m fully present when you need to process the tough stuff.

  • More about me and my practice:

My practice is selective. If I don’t think we’ll be a good fit, I’ll let you know. And I expect you to do the same. That’s how we’ll get some marvelous work done. I love CBT and mindfulness.
