I try to use humor and laugh in sessions. Humor can be a great way to relax and work through problems that we experience.
Something to know about my approach is:
I take a client-centered approach and some CBT/DBT skills. I work with individuals and couples who are experiencing stress, anxiety, depression or any number of other things that could be going on.

I always knew I needed to talk to someone but never thought I could ask. I want to make therapy less intimidating and uncomfortable for my clients.

Currently I am only offering therapy online. I hope to start working in person soon as we learn more about safe practices!

I like to be laid back and casual. Yes there is hard work in therapy but it can also be relaxing and be light hearted. We may talk about the hardest thing we have experienced or we may just laugh about what has been happening at work.
