My approach is encouraging, validating, compassionate, non- judgmental, and informative.

During our first appointment we will talk about what is bringing you to counseling and how it's impacting you. Then, we will create therapy goals so we can identify what you want to address and how we would be able to tell if things are getting easier for you.

I seek to understand people and their stories and perspectives. This understanding helps me identify what may be the best approach to take in therapy together.

I often start clients with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) having a solid foundation to manage the day-to-day. I have completed advanced training in EMDR and parts work and have completed all three levels of DBR training to process traumatic shock.
