Emily Miles

I work through a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy lens, which looks at thoughts, feelings and behaviors and how they are connected. Feelings like these can feel unmanageable, so we will focus on how to look at behaviors and perceptions to feel better.

We’ll guide you towards improving your mood and relationships, as well as strengthening your copings skills and problem solving abilities so that what once felt unmanageable is now manageable. I have handouts and visual aids for those who want them.

My clients describe me as caring, supportive and nonjudgmental, while being able to tell it like it is when needed.

My specializations includes: anxiety/panic, depression, trauma and addiction. I enjoy helping client address issues around self esteem and confidence.I also enjoy working with clients who want to improve boundaries and communication in relationships.

I have always been the person people talk to and feel supported by without judgment. This led to my chosen profession which I love!

Prior to starting my own practice I worked in community mental health with individuals with varying mental health & addiction needs. I love what I do and and welcome anyone to reach out and see if we might be a good fit for each other.
