My approach is warm and welcoming...and I’ll give you a gently nudge when you need it. I want to get to know you and what your life is all about/ I want to understand and learn about what you would like to change in your life. We will work together to bring out the best in you. Life gets better! It really does.

Progress and relief starts with the first session! Together we will help you experience more joy and connectedness and be in charge of what happens in your life. We will talk about how to be true to yourself and listen to that inner voice...or maybe find it if you haven’t heard it in a while. It’s there!

My clients describe me as accepting and kind and someone who totally gets what it means to live with ADHD, OCD, or anxiety. I hold clients accountable, and push them to take risks and grow and get the things they want out of life. I find humor to be a great way to connect and relieve stress even in the most challenging situations!

I specialize in working with people who struggle with ADHD, OCD, and anxiety, including individuals, families, teens, and adults. I often work with parents whose children live with these challenges.

I became a therapist because I am curious about each person’s story and experience and what makes each person unique. I like to figure out what obstacles are in a person’s way and help them discover how to overcome them. It is challenging and rewarding work!

I have been a psychotherapist for twenty-five years and I’ve worked in various settings including inpatient psychiatry, residential care for teens, and outpatient mental health. I’m proud of the experience and expertise I have gained but I am forever striving to became a better clinician.
