Kyung In Lee

I work to help people, particularly those that identify as LGBTQIA+, gain a stronger sense of control and ownership over their life and relationships. My experience is attuned to those who have relationship struggles, experience self-sabotage, and hope to gain a stronger understanding for themselves under the surface.

We will dive into your past histories and inner processes to gain a stronger understanding and sense of control over yourself and your relationships. By slowing down and taking inventory of the emotions and memories that arise, we can learn about our own unconscious dynamics and grow into fuller versions of ourselves.

Clients have described me as being empathetic and supportive. I provide an environment where people can be witnessed and heard without judgement. With me, you'll be provided the opportunity to make sense of contradicting thoughts, actions, and relationships and help you build congruent ways of being.

People who have grown up with narcissistic and self-interested parents, have difficulty navigating their needs along with the needs of others, and find themselves self-sabotaging in relationships. I am experienced in supporting people who have experienced sexual, childhood, and complex trauma in healing from past wounds.

I wanted to help people navigate their relational patterns and discover who they are. My goal is to support people in finding ownership of the various aspects that make up you. I aim to do so by bringing in my clinical, academic, and lived experience into the room to create a presence that is warm and trauma-informed.

I utilize psychoanalytic psychotherapy to support you in uncovering and bringing to light your unconscious thoughts, emotions, and memories. My practice is carefully attuned to experiences, struggles, and joys of LGBTQIA+ communities.
