I was drawn to therapy after years of work in mental health crisis. Though I enjoyed that meaningful work, I never had enough time with people. I wished we could dive deeper, but the pace of those settings didn't allow for it. I'm so grateful now for clients that allow me along in their journeys week after week because that is where transformation happens.
