I became a therapist because:
I feel passionately about working with people who feel isolated or different, or that they’re either too much or not enough for the world around them.

My family arrived in Los Angeles from Mexico and Southern parts of the U.S. I identify as multiracial, and I understand first-hand the feeling of non-belonging, displacement, and impact of intergenerational trauma.
