Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays: mornings, afternoons
My clients describe me as:
warm, empathic, and at ease. Clients feel celebrated in their strengths and held in their moments of vulnerability, all while cracking a joke or two.
Something to know about my approach is:
I work from the inside out: learn to slow down, listen to your body's intuition, allow yourself to experience and express emotions, and become aware of your triggers and unhealthy patterns so you can come to a place of self-acceptance and compassion.
Together, we will:
unpack and process past trauma (childhood, intergenerational, racial), inner child healing, learn coping strategies, how to set healthy boundaries, improve relationship with yourself and with others, prevent burnout, gain self-compassion/acceptance
I specialize in working with people who:
cycle-breakers (breaking away from trauma), perfectionists, people-pleasers, overfunctioners (burnout), highly sensitive people, women, AAPI, BIPOC, immigrant and children of immigrants, LGBTQIA+ with loud Inner Critics and a wounded Inner Child
I became a therapist because:
I have experienced firsthand the mental health needs and lack of representation and support for AAPI/BIPOC youth and adults.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I am flexible - either telehealth or in-person at our cozy and beautiful office. I strive to create a safe and comfortable space for you.
More about me and my practice:
As a 1.5 gen Filipino-American therapist, I am culturally responsive to my clients' points of intersectionality. I am Attachment and strengths-based, and pull from EFT, somatics, IFS parts work, and other theories to meet my clients' unique needs.
