Mornings, early afternoons, and some late afternoon times available
My clients describe me as:
genuine, nonjudgmental and empathetic. I strive to create an environment where clients can feel safe and comfortable discussing life's difficulties.
Something to know about my approach is:
I believe in a collaborative approach as you are the expert in your own life. I believe we all have strengths and resiliency that help us grow and thrive and we all need a little help at times. I am here to guide you along the way.
Together, we will:
Embrace your strengths that will help with life's challenges. We will gently challenge those negative thoughts we sometimes get stuck in and build tools that will help create a new path forward based on your individual needs.
I specialize in working with people who:
are seeking relief from anxiety or depression, looking to process trauma, need help navigating life's transitions, or are seeking personal growth. I commonly use principles and techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT/TFCBT), DBT and EMDR.
I became a therapist because:
I wanted to help individuals who experience traumatic events and guide them in their journey toward healing and building a life they want to live.
More about me and my practice:
I have worked with youth and adults in school-based and outpatient settings. I was a Clinical Director at a Community Mental Health agency before resuming my passion of working directly with clients and bringing my passion to private practice.
