I work with clients who have experienced trauma in all forms, regardless of what happened to them. We will work together to take the emotional bite out of the event(s), figure out what the event(s) made you think and feel about yourself, and change your perceptions of the events and the beliefs about yourself to feel more positive or accepting.

life is bananas. Helping people figure out their lives and put together those puzzle pieces is super gratifying. My favorite phrase in the English language is, "I was thinking about what we talked about last week...."

I know it sounds wild, but I love trauma. I love helping people work through the challenging, unpredictable and often crappy hand that life has dealt and seeing them come out better for it on the other side. EMDR is an excellent tool for helping people engage in that work.
