a good listener, perceptive, compassionate, friendly, and supportive. I tailor each session to meet the unique needs of each person.
Something to know about my approach is:
that I aim to meet you where you are and provide an environment where you feel safe and encouraged to be your authentic self. I often use humor to connect and am not afraid of or offended by cussing.
Together, we will:
laugh, cry, connect, and get real. I'm not afraid of challenging issues and there is no concern that does not warrant exploration if it is causing distress.
I specialize in working with people who:
are navigating loss and experiencing life transitions. I know that sounds broad, but these can lead to a variety of mental health concerns from anxiety, depression, lack of identity, and suicidal thoughts.
I became a therapist because:
of the struggles within my own family as we walked together initially through school-based issues and then the wide-reaching ripple effect from those.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
the location. It's easy to get to - close to I25 off of Briargate Pkwy. The building is well lit and the first-floor office is accessible.
More about me and my practice:
we are women-owned and also work full-time in schools. The impacts of mental health concerns can be quite disruptive for you and those around you. Everyone deserves to feel supported in their journey and each of us values you as you are.
