You’ll learn that you can feel anxious and still choose what matters to you. Step by step, you’ll reclaim your time, your peace, and your trust in your own mind.

warm, steady, and deeply present. They say I make the scariest thoughts feel safe to say out loud, without judgment or shock. I’m gentle but honest, and I’ll encourage you when OCD tells you to quit. I ask the questions that help you hear your own voice again, and I celebrate every brave step with you, no matter how small it feels.

Our first session is an intake, a chance to get to know each other. I’ll ask questions about your thoughts, fears, and routines as I assess for OCD, and you’re welcome to share at your own pace. Afterward, you’ll complete the Yale Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale (YBOCS), a questionnaire that measures OCD severity and helps us track your progress.

As a Black, Afrolatina, Indigenous LCSW, I made it through so you can see yourself in the room. I also live with GAD and faced my fears through my own exposure hierarchy. Anxiety and OCD often overlap. I’ve lived this work.
