I have a waitlist for new clients. If you would like to be added to it, I can notify you when I have an opening available.
My clients describe me as:
I am passionate about helping people find their voice, work through shame, and begin to treat themselves with self-compassion.
Something to know about my approach is:
My clinical work focuses on helping clients heal old wounds, learn and use effective tools, and begin to build a full life. I believe in walking alongside my clients to identify areas of concern and empower them to change course to reach their goals.
Together, we will:
I specialize in treating trauma, PTSD, eating disorders, and food addiction. I use an eclectic approach to help my clients heal. One of the tools in my toolbox is that I am an EMDRIA trained EMDR therapist.
I specialize in working with people who:
I believe that individuals who struggle with eating disorders and addictions initially found comfort and relief from those behaviors before they became all encompassing. I believe that it is the initial attempt to deal with underlying pain or trauma.
I became a therapist because:
I began working at an eating disorder facility as an operations manager and immediately knew I wanted to help clients on their healing journey.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I feel that I offer a calming office to do good work. While telehealth is a wonderful option I wanted to offer a safe space for my clients to come.
More about me and my practice:
I have been a clinician since 2012 and was a Clinical Director prior to my full-time private Practice at Waves Counseling and Consulting. I love helping my clients do deep work so I continue to further my EMDR training in the areas I specialize.
