I work 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday, except Tuesday afternoons
My clients describe me as:
Collaborative; supportive; creative; and intentional. I believe in my modality and I love what I do.
Something to know about my approach is:
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, which means I don't treat symptoms. My approach is holistic and collaborative. Mindfulness is built into the work, not just as formal breathing exercises, but living life fully, with intention.
Together, we will:
Find your "stuck points" or thoughts and feelings that you get caught up in and that narrow your life. We'll also help you tune into what really matters to you in your life and help you orient towards a life of meaning and vitality.
I specialize in working with people who:
I will work with anyone if we have a good working relationship; however, I tend to work often with adolescents who are struggling with anxiety, and with life transitions. I also work with any individual who is willing to become curious about change.
I became a therapist because:
I dropped out of college at 18 and was struggling to find meaning in my life. Therapy helped me and I became curious about the process of change.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is unlike any other modality I've explored. I find it engaging, creative, and is useful for most people.
More about me and my practice:
I love what I do. I'm constantly reading, going to trainings, and investigating psychology. I'm also a teacher, trainer, supervisor, and lifelong student of this work. I try to make my office a sacred space for healing.
