Rachel’s goal as a counselor is to be the person willing to walk with others toward more joy, peace, and healing.
Rachel is a National Certified Counselor and Certified Grief Therapist specializing in women-related grief experiences. Her person-centered therapeutic approach integrates experiential therapy, attachment theory, CBT, DBT, Gottman Institute, and EFT.
She intentionally creates a space for clients to feel safe to explore their story. Rachel believes we were created to be in connection with others and views developing trust and hope in the therapeutic relationship as a vital piece in healing.
Rachel is a Certified Grief Therapist specializing in women-related grief experiences (postpartum depression, PMDD, and other types of grief), depression, anxiety, self-esteem struggles, relationship conflict, codependency, and life transitions.
Rachel came to the counseling field by way of journalism. She feels the counseling space provides a richer environment to leave a greater impact.
I am in the licensure process for Florida and Georgia. I have flexible availability and offer both in-person and virtual counseling.
As Brene Brown says, imperfections are not inadequacies; they are reminders that we’re all in this together. Please reach out for a free consult call, so we can get to know each other more and discuss working together!
