About Me:

  • My clients describe me as:

I am easy to talk to and not easy to get a reaction out of. I tend to be very soft in my communication but will be more blunt if asked.

  • Something to know about my approach is:

My therapeutic style is a blend of Narrative and Solution Focused approaches. I am a very open-minded individual who thrives when working with diverse groups.

  • Together, we will:

I am very attentive to my client's needs and pick up on their verbal, physical, and facial clues. I am a strong believer that clients should be in charge of their goal-setting. If needed, with this process, I am able to help guide them.

  • I specialize in working with people who:

I typically work with teenagers and anxiety. I also provide group, couples, and family counseling. Although I do not have any specialization certificates, I like to work with grief and trauma (mostly sexual trauma).

  • I became a therapist because:

My entire tenure in the education field, I always felt like I wanted to help the families more. This yearning renewed my passion for therapy.

  • More about me and my practice:

I am an LMFT who enjoys working with families of teenagers. I also work with individuals and greatly appreciate the opportunity to help others. Before becoming a therapist, I was an educator for 11 years and specialized in prenatal through age 5.
