I practice a person centered approach. I am skilled at supporting clients to determine their own path by addressing their goals and their determination to meet them. I take a judgement free approach with my clients, but I am direct when it comes to challenging contradictions in what is desired and what is being practiced by the client.

Examine what you really desire to change and the values that you hold. Your values play a key part when it comes to what will motivate you to do the work required to bring about a change in your behavior and mindset. Patience and tenacity is the driving force to bringing about the change you want to see in yourself!

have experienced trauma related to grief / loss, sexual assault, first generation related trauma, depression, trauma related to queer identity, workplace/school based challenges, life transition, low self-esteem, cultural expectations, dating violence, challenges related to cohabitation and marital challenges.

to serve people at their most vulnerable deserves integrity, experience, cultural competency and compassion is something very dear to me. Therapy is a very intimate experience for many; I take that seriously and support my clients and their process with the challenge of being vulnerable. The therapeutic process requires respect and trust.

The capitalizing of the B and the L in my business name stands for Black Liberation. It is a core value of mine as a therapist and a woman of African descent.
