It is my responsibility to pay attention to the big picture- noting common themes that come up. Often concerns that we have present differently across different domains (work, home, etc.) but the emotional underpinnings and impact can be similar.

Work to identify strategies and techniques that can begin to offer some relief. We will also begin to alter problematic/less functional narratives that negatively impact your life. Self-compassion is a skill that I work on with almost every client.

I specialize in working with people who:

struggle with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or are at a place of transition in their lives. I also have specific expertise working with healthcare professionals, including students in training for a career in healthcare.

I became a therapist because:

I believe in the strength and resilience of people. I consider it an honor to assist folks during moments when they may be feeling lost or stuck.

Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

My office is located in the Beverly neighborhood of Chicago, but I also meet with people via telehealth and am a Psypact member.

I have experience in various settings including university counseling centers, community mental health, nursing homes, and private practice. I have been licensed for 9 years and in private practice for 7 years.
