My clients describe me as:
I would hope they'd describe me as collaborative, insightful, creative, playful, humorous, attuned, and compassionate.
Something to know about my approach is:
I'm guided by the idea that identity is a continuous narrative - a story, essentially - and emphasize the exploration of the layers of our narrative. I believe when we become aware of our narrative, and the choices we make within it, change occurs.
Together, we will:
Explore all the stories we tell to understand ourselves, others, and the world. Through our process, we will uncover new possibilities in your narrative that will deepen your self-understanding and help you reengage with yourself and the world.
I specialize in working with people who:
who feel stuck, who feel burdened by a self and life no longer working. Primarily, I work with depression and anxiety but also enjoy working with life transitions and crises. I have also significant experience working with students and artists.
I became a therapist because:
I'm a lifelong reader and a lover of film - really, I just love stories. My work is all about around storytelling and how it harms and heals.
More about me and my practice:
I only accept new patients for in-person appointments. Also, I am pre-licensed, which means I have my doctorate but am in the process of obtaining licensure from the state. While in that process, I'm supervised by two incredible clinicians.
