Through a collaborative therapeutic relationship, we will attend to feelings/beliefs that emerge from lived experience/history and that interfere with being able to live fully, creatively, and freely in the present. I strive to understand my patient's deeply, and for them to feel responded to with compassion and intelligence.

People who work with me appreciate my willingness to collaboratively reflect on the unfolding therapy process, share what’s on my mind, and position myself as an open and non-judgmental co-investigator, rather than the authority in the room. I work humanistically and outside the medical model.

I have experience working in outpatient community health, long-term residential, and inpatient hospital settings. I work with people who are looking to get to the roots of their distress and suffering. This can take the form of a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship problems, grief, etc.
