Angela meets clients where they are at and allows them to lead as they are the experts of self. She is warm, inviting, direct and at times humorous.
Angela takes an integrative and holistic approach to treating clients. Angela believes therapy is about personal wellness and that everyone can benefit from the process. She places a strong focus on assisting clients to achieve their full potential.
Angela will assist individuals in setting realistic goals to help them grow and heal throughout life and to identify and remove obstacles preventing them from moving forward. We will explore personal meaning and purpose in life to improve wellbeing.
I believe that we have one life to live and that we should make it our best life possible. I think the world can be a lonely place and making it harder for people to connect due to technology. I aim to remove those barriers for people.
Initially, I went into therapy to assist others with loss and grief due to multiple losses in a row as a child.
After over 20 years of service for others, Angela has founded her own practice that was established in January of 2024 called Mind Lodge.
Angela is an LCPC in the State of Illinois. She has embraced the privilege of working in the service profession since 2001, and is experienced in Schools, ERs, outpatient settings, and police stations.
