Straightforward, down-to-earth, humorous, effective, collaborative, and fully invested in the healing journey, without too much fluff.
Something to know about my approach is:
I focus on your "internal family"—the Parts that try to guide and protect you, which may have been around a long time. I also address relational conflicts and intense emotional memory. We'll navigate these layers and enable you to get better.
Together, we will:
We'll explore the different Parts of you that contribute to your thoughts, emotions, and actions. We'll address how these parts interact with relationship conflicts and trust issues, and resolve any intense emotional memory that hijacks your body.
I specialize in working with people who:
I specialize in helping you relate to the different "characters" that make up your inner life. We'll also speed up the healing process for traumatic memories and apply proven strategies to strengthen your communication in meaningful relationships.
I became a therapist because:
Becoming a therapist felt like a natural step after years working with kids, young adults, and their families in a performance-based business I owned.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
My space offers more than just a couch. You'll find a park, walking paths, and restaurants. Plus, we've got a private deck and space for creative work
More about me and my practice:
I do not subscribe to the "clinical hour" (40-53 minutes) imposed by insurance companies. I dedicate up to 90+ minutes of time to support your needs, and to relieve the pressure to move faster than is necessary or safe.
