Are teens and young adults with big hearts who often hide their struggles and emotions and worry they aren't living up to the goals they have for themselves. They feel overwhelmed with anxiety and fear and question their decisions and behaviors.
I enjoy connecting and supporting people one on one and wanted to create a space where people feel comfortable opening up and being themselves.
My office is filled with plants, sunlight, bright colors, art and soft pillows.
Being a shy, anxious person I have gravitated towards helping others who are hesitant to open up. I worked in the nonprofit mental health field for the last 12 years and recently opened up my own practice, Encourage Joy Therapy.
