I see clients Mondays and Fridays from 9 AM to 7 PM.
My clients describe me as:
I am a queer therapist who works with queer individuals, families, partners, and parents in Iowa- both parents who are queer & parents of queer kids.
Something to know about my approach is:
As a queer person, I know queer clients often have trauma and have historically been harmed by the mental health field. That's why I use transparent and collaborative postmodern models to provide affirming, trauma-informed, strength-based care.
Together, we will:
I am a queer therapist who provides queer and gender-affirming mental health care, WPATH-based assessments for letters of support, &/or trauma-informed mental health support so that you can move forward in the way that works best for you.
I specialize in working with people who:
I work with queer clients and clients who have queer family, partners, or kids. I understand queer people experience increased trauma, so I also became a Certified Clinical Trauma Profession (CCTP) and Certified Family Trauma Professional (CFTP).
I became a therapist because:
I understand that queer people and people who have experienced trauma deserve safe and affirming spaces to process, heal, and move forward.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I offer in-person and telehealth services at Prism Therapy Group.
