Laid back yet direct. I have a relaxed yet structured approach that allows you to be yourself without fear of being judged or filtering what you say.

Something to know about my approach is:

I go beyond "Just talking" suggesting journaling, worksheets, books to read or skills to practice. We will explore past and present experiences focusing on not only what happened, but how to make meaning of that information to inform change.

Together, we will:

address people pleasing, perfectionism, feeling underappreciated and undervalued, questioning where you are in life or any other complex issue that you may be struggling with. We will work on boundaries, relationships and overall balance in your life

I specialize in working with people who:

have never been to therapy before or have had negative experiences with it in the past. My clients tell me that my use of humor and the relaxed approach is helpful. I often see clients that have tried numerous other therapists with little progress.

I became a therapist because:

I wanted to use my love of both the arts and sciences to pursue a helping field and psychology is the perfect blend of those fields.

Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

I can see clients from across the state as my sessions are virtual and fully secure. Video sessions allow for zero commute yet still face to face.

I have been a therapist since 2008 in many settings and several states. I focus on using supportive encouragement and accountability to help my clients trust themselves to make changes. We will get past stuck points. All pets welcome on screen :).
