Our first session will be about getting to know you as a whole person. This goes beyond symptoms and diagnoses, but what makes you *you*. How does your past play a role in developing your present self, and what future do you envision?

The most rewarding aspect of being a psychologist is being able to witness my patients grow in their confidence, sense of self, and eventually leave therapy empowered to tackle life's issues while staying true to themselves.

As a Vietnamese American, I experienced first-hand the struggles for being an immigrant. These difficulties are hard to fully describe and appreciate without lived experience. My practice (alignedpsych.com) specializes in working with immigrants and adult child of immigrants to provide a much-needed service to individuals who otherwise have few support.
