My clients describe me as:
A safe, empathetic, calming space that encourages and empowers others to be themselves. I also balance difficult topics with intentional reprieves.
Something to know about my approach is:
I support clients in breaking down, organizing, and regaining control when life feels overwhelming. I help clients create goals and make sustainable solutions that build off of the skills and power they already possess.
Together, we will:
Talk about all topics openly and without fear of judgment. From domestic violence and trauma to gender exploration and expression. From the first session, I encourage clients to recognize the intrinsic value of telling their story.
I specialize in working with people who:
are from a wide range of populations and ages. I have a vast knowledge and experience in working with LGBTQ+ issues/exploration, sex work, domestic violence, sexual assault, depression, anxiety, adoption, racial trauma, PTSD, and kink affirming care.
I became a therapist because:
it is one of the few spaces that prioritize the belief that all people deserve to live peacefully and openly as their true authentic selves.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
Due to offering telehealth, I am more easily accessible to my clients and can serve anyone in Michigan.
More about me and my practice:
I am part of an incredible practice called A Thriving Place, that is diverse and queer owned. We focus on empowering clients and prioritize providing a "soft space" in an, at times, hard world.
