We'll build on your strengths so that you can use them all the more effectively, in ways you might not have thought possible.

I especially enjoy working with young- to middle-aged adults, couples, and families experiencing life transitions, depression, anger, anxiety, and affair recovery.

I realized early on that emotional pain is far more damaging than we care to admit. I went to school in an old steel town in the Appalachian foothills. Homelessness and drug addiction reflected inner hurt, as good people tried to get by. Along with my own upbringing, disposition, and strengths, I couldn't see myself in any other line of work.

A native of the Midwest, I spent several meaningful years living and building my career on the Alabama Gulf Coast before relocating to Michigan. I maintain licensure in both states. Located in GR Therapy Collective, I provide in-person counseling to those in the Grand Rapids area and telehealth counseling to residents of Michigan and Alabama.
