I attempt to both help my client feel like I am with them and support them where they are at while simultaneously holding in my own mind what I believe they are capable of. I want to be supportive through both empathy and accountability.

Understand family and relationships in order to self-explore and grow as an individual and as a romantic partner. Develop skills, tools, and new thought processes to manage current problems. Develop self-sufficiency to handle future problems.

Want to find a therapist who will do more than just listen and be a friend. I am unable to just sit there and listen and that be all I do. Self-growth, accountability, and compassion will all be present at the same time during our work together.

Of my work as a sexual aggression advocate (SAPA of CMU), my interest in politics and family, and my love of understanding systems & groups of people.

I am trauma informed, client-centered, and work from a systems and feminist approach. I will work with clients on short-term goals and changes, however my draw is to long-term growth in order to build a genuinely deep relationship (w/ self & others).
