I work to gain a deep understanding of the presented concerns, paying close attention how past trauma and previous experiences can shape current concerns. It is important that clients feel heard and understood.

We will explore how past and current life experiences effect relationships with others, work life and sense of self. We will also work together to identify patterns of thoughts, feelings and behaviors to develop better ways of coping.

I specialize in working with people who:

I enjoy working with people that are dealing with life transitions, addiction, trauma and parenting and relationship concerns. I also enjoy working with people that have dual diagnoses (addiction and mental illness).

I became a therapist because:

I truly enjoy helping people to understand their struggles and being there to support them through them.

Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

For in-person sessions, my office is centrally located within Kalamazoo but also easily accessed from the highway.

I work hard to meet people where they are at in terms of their needs and desire to make changes. I offer flexibility between in person and telehealth sessions to help meet client scheduling needs.
